Prototype This: Omni Directional Forklift - Couch
Omni directional couch. I can't actually embed the video because it's from DiscoveryNetworks on YouTube. But here is the actual company that supplied the wheels - Airtrax.

Airtrax Omnidirectional Forklift:
While the commercial is definitely not the greatest...the technology is pretty cool. It still takes my brain a few seconds to process the way the vehicle can move. Simply because your entire life it just has not seen this. Pretty cool stuff.
